BIOGRAPHY:

Angie Cottone is a self-taught, Certified, I.A.T.S.E. Professional Makeup Artist currently in the Carolinas, accepting both UNION & NON-UNION Production|Digital|Print work who travels the Nation providing her Services (which also include hair styling & wardrobe styling for non-union Productions) for all ages, genders & ethnicities.

Angie has been an Artist her entire life; she taught herself how to draw, paint and create at a very young age.  While attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (Business Administration: Management & Marketing) she began modeling part-time which is how she discovered her love for, passion, obsession, & natural talent with Makeup Artistry, committing herself entirely to this Industry as a Freelance Makeup Artist to serve others. Angie also spent several years in the early portion of her Career as a Regional Artist for Smashbox Cosmetics demonstrating & educating others at their New Product Launches & Artistry Events in North Carolina.

 

Angie has exceptional work ethic, is respectful, mindful, detail oriented, hard working, punctual, reliable & brings a fun but professional, positive energy to her working environments. She keeps her kit CLEAN & ORGANIZED, always following proper sanitation & infection control protocols. She is extremely knowledgeable in her craft and has a vast range of skills to exceed Client's/Talent's expectations; including, Natural & Corrective Camera-Ready or Beauty Looks, Full Glam, Time Period Makeup: all decades, Tattoo Covering, Airbrushing, Face & Body Painting, Matching Continuity, Theatrical or SFx, (bruises, wounds, cuts, scabs, injuries, abrasions, skin conditions, diseases, illness, death, dirt, sweat, aging, tired, bites, tribal, character, lace application, bald caps, etc) and more!
